Code of Conduct
All participants, including but not limited to delegates, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, and partners attending the 2022 Textile Exchange Conference or any associated meeting, regardless of in-person or virtual, must adhere to the following Code of Conduct.
The Textile Exchange Conference gathers global participants, creating a community that values diverse views, expertise, opinions, backgrounds, and experiences and who collaborate by sharing ideas, information, and resources. Textile Exchange and its partners are committed to providing a respectful, harassment-free conference experience for everyone in attendance regardless of age, disability, ethnicity, gender or gender identity, marital status, physical appearance, political views, race, religion, sexual orientation, or technology choices. This conduct expectation includes no offensive verbal or written comments, as well as no inappropriate physical contact.
Textile Exchange and its partners believe that diverse representation at events ultimately creates a stronger community. While every effort will be made to ensure that the values of each attendee are respected at all times, the Textile Sustainability Conference welcomes the sharing of ideas through an inclusive convening of participants, including many guest presenters and open Q&A. By registering to attend this event, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct. Event organizers may, at their discretion, revoke the right to participate without refund or reimbursement to anyone not adhering to this policy. By registering for this event, you agree to receive communication from Textile Exchange and its organizing partner, the Sustainable Apparel Coalition, including up-to-date information about this event, industry news, and other relevant information. Subscription preferences can be changed at any time using the "unsubscribe" option in any email you receive from the respective organizations. Requesting to be removed from all communications before the completion of the 2022 Textile Exchange Conference will exclude you from all communication, except for communication about the 2022 conference itself.
Public Information about Attendees: Textile Exchange and its partners respect the privacy and security of attendees. Only registered attendee Company name will be shared on the public-facing conference website under the heading of "Companies in Attendance" or other similar heading indicating that your company will have representation in the 2022 Textile Exchange Conference.
Information Shared with other Registered Attendees: Registered attendee Name, Job Title, Company, and Country will be visible to other registered attendees in the virtual event platform and Mobile App. Attendees may request contact with other attendees through these systems.

Please note the Conference Cancellation Policy below:
We understand that occasionally plans change and things happen that are beyond your control. If you need to cancel for any reason, you must notify us in writing by the dates listed below to receive refunds as outlined. You may, however, transfer your registration to another person at no additional cost. After October 1 all fees are non-refundable.
Please note: an administrative fee will be kept to cover the processing fees that Textile Exchange incurs through the transfer of funds. Textile Exchange is not responsible for canceling hotel bookings - refer to your hotel cancellation policy for their requirements.
Before September 1, 2022:
Textile Exchange will issue a full refund on registration fees less 20% of the total payment to cover administrative fees (as described above) on all cancellations received in writing (to Conference@TextileExchange.org) by September 1.
Between September 2 - October 1, 2022:
Textile Exchange will issue a 50% refund of paid fees on any cancellations received between September 2 - October 1, 2022.
After October 1, 2022:
No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after October 1, 2022.
Substitute attendees are welcome and encouraged at any time. These changes can be made by simply modifying your registration record by contacting Conference@TextileExchange.org.
